10 Days in Agege

This is my first time in Lagos. In fact, my first time in Nigeria. Actually it is only my third time out of Ghana. I am in Lagos leading a contingent of boys and girls who will be representing Ghana at the Airtel Rising Stars Inter-Country Tournament. They will be competing with 16 others to try win $10,000 for themselves and an opportunity to gain some valuable experience.

Whiles here, I will be blogging daily on what I see here, hear here, feel here, and what I think about them all. It sure promises to be an exciting 10 days in Agege.

Meanwhile may I say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to my colleagues at Airtel Ghana for emerging the Telecom Company of the Year 2012 at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) awards held yesterday Friday September 13. The telco industry is one fluid one with a load of challenges. I know that the team at Airtel strives to continuously improve upon service delivery on all fronts. We are not there yet, but we will be there soon.

Again, welcome to Ten Days in Agege.
